We stayed 2 night at this hotel which is located 15 min. From the airport. The room is ok, the beds are fine and the staff are nice and helpful. The AC in the room can't be turned off, so we had to put it on fan mode just to avoid freezing. Breakfast is fine and includes many different things to choose from. The POOL (bathtub), is a joke! All the rooftop is only a bunch of chairs and a 50cm "pool". I may even say we were scammed by this feature! We wanted a hotel with a pool and all we got was an expensive hotel with a wrongly marketed feature! Avoid this hotel if you want a pool included hotel!

Sercotel Rosaleda Málaga was a good hotel for the money and worked well for our trip. We booked it as part of an easyJet package including flights from the UK and, overall, felt it offered good value for the standard, location and facilities. The hotel is around a 30 minute walk from the edge of the city centre, so it is not right in the middle of Málaga, but it is still manageable if you are happy walking. The hotel itself feels modern and well kept, and our room was clean and comfortable. It was not especially large, but it was perfectly fine for what we needed. Breakfast was included during our stay and was decent, with a nice selection available. The room used for breakfast did feel a little crowded at times due to the layout of the tables and the size of the space, but the food itself was good. The highlight was definitely the freshly squeezed orange juice machine, which was particularly good. One thing to be aware of is the rooftop pool. I would describe it more as a shallow cooling-off pool than a proper swimming pool, as it is only very shallow and not particularly large. It is fine for sitting in if you get too hot on the sunbeds, but it is not somewhere you can actually swim. A couple of useful extras made the stay more convenient. There is a door to the left of reception which takes you straight into the shopping centre attached to the hotel, with a large supermarket nearby and a mix of other shops. The café in reception was also good and very reasonably priced. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel. It is modern, good value and convenient, especially if you are happy being slightly outside the main city centre.

We stayed here for a mini break and overall found the hotel clean, comfortable and perfectly fine for a short stay. The rooms were tidy and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. However, the location wasn’t ideal for sightseeing or exploring the main attractions, which made it less suitable for the type of trip we had planned. It felt more like a Travelodge-style hotel — practical and convenient rather than somewhere with much atmosphere or character. That said, it would be a good option for an overnight stay or for anyone needing easy access to the airport. For a longer city break or holiday focused on attractions, I’d probably choose somewhere more central next time.

Good, well maintained hotel just outside the main part of the city. I personally didn't mind the location, I enjoyed the walk back each night, but it is around a 20-25 minute walk from Centro, but it could be difficult if you are someone who may have some mobility issues. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed, the rooftop pool is very shallow so it's not really for swimming, more for a cool dip. More amenities could be added to the rooftop terrace as it has plenty of space, I think a small bar would be beneficial.

Fantastic, fairly new built hotel. Fantastic location just about 20 minutes walk to main part of Málaga town centre and the old town. Hotel has parking located right inside the shopping centre which the hotel is next to. In terms of parking, the hotel charges 15 euros a night to park in the shopping centre car park which is literally next to the hotel and has entrances to the car park from the hotel lobby. Now you could park for free in the shopping centre car park HOWEVER, it wasn't clear if you could leave you car over night away from the designated hotel car parking which as I say, is in the same area as the shopping centre car park. For the comfort and ease of paying the 15 euros for the hotel parking, I would recommend that. The car park is fairly narrow at parts so took so used to driving around and finding your way out can be confusing but overall, it's fine. The shopping centre has some eating places in but nothing great so I would eat in and around the area for better cuisine choices. There is a supermarket right next to the hotel (within the shopping centre) so a good place to get snacks and drinks. In terms of the hotel, all rooms spacious and clean. We found it very quiet at night although Málaga FC stadium is about 10 mins away so if they are playing at home it can be noisey when the fans are leaving but it's an experience to see from your hotel window. The breakfast was very good which hot and cold selection of food including cereals, teas and coffee. Overall, the staff were all friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend.
