From the moment we arrived, the staff at Soho Boutique Hotel in Málaga made us feel welcomed and well taken care of, even when we encountered an unexpected issue with our reservation. Anna at the front desk truly made all the difference. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the situation. She made sure to hold a room for us while we worked on resolving the issue with our third-party travel agency and reassured us every step of the way. In the end, we decided to stay at the hotel, and Anna went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay by giving us the best room available. Her calm and welcoming attitude made a stressful experience much easier to handle. We were also touched by the thoughtful gesture of receiving a lovely fruit platter. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The balcony offered excellent views, and the hotel's location was perfect, very central to Málaga city and conveniently close to the main train station. I would 100% recommend Soho Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Málaga. Thank you, Anna, for your outstanding hospitality and for turning what could have been a negative experience into a memorable one.

This is a nice hotel don’t get me wrong. The room was clean and updated. My issue comes from my experience hopping in the shower after a long day of travel and realizing that the shampoo is completely out. Already bothered that cleaning service didn’t notice, I stepped out and tried to call concierge, but the hotel phone was not working. And so, with my hair soaking wet, I put on some clothes and went to the front desk and told her the issue, and she handed me a bottle of shampoo. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little shocked that they weren’t going to send someone up to replace it themselves. I then had to finagle the one affixed on the bathroom wall (this wasn’t your easy take one bottle out thing- I had to figure out how it was affixed to the wall and it took a few minutes) and replace it with the one she handed me. This is not four star hotel service. I normally stay at low-key, much cheaper places, but I wanted to splurge and treat myself. And mind you, they didn’t even have conditioner. In what world does a four-star hotel not have conditioner?! My hair is definitely a complete knot at the moment and I’m hoping my next hotel will do me justice. Also, while the double insulated windows are great, the walls to the hallway are so thin, you can hear every single person talking as they pass by. I’m so disappointed with my experience and the amount of money I spent in order for me to have one night of a somewhat luxurious sleep.

Absolutely amazing hotel perfect location, beautiful and very comfortable rooms. We didn't inc breakfast so can't comment on that. Big shout out to Xavier who checked us in and gave us some great recommendations ❤️😎😁 I can't wait to come back to Malaga and would most definitely stay here again. Muchos gracias

Great location and the room size was excellent. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the stay pleasant overall. However, for a 4-star hotel there were a few things missing. The room had no full-size mirror and no mirror in the room area at all—only in the bathroom—despite plenty of wall space. This makes it difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. There were USB plugs on both sides of the bed, but unfortunately neither of them worked, so if you’re visiting from outside the EU you’ll need converter plugs. There were also no slippers and no complimentary drinking water, which I would normally expect from a hotel of this category. The window insulation is excellent and blocks outside noise very well, but unfortunately you can hear everything happening in the hallway. We were woken up a couple of times by guests returning from a night out. There are also no smart TVs in the rooms so you won’t be able to connect your Netflix or anything. Overall a good stay thanks to the location and staff, but a few small improvements would make it feel more like a true 4-star experience.

I have used the Soho Boutique chain several times, and once again Soho Boutique Colón in Málaga proved why I continue to return. Unfortunately, I had to cancel a recent booking due to severe flooding in my area in Ireland. The hotel handled the situation with absolute professionalism and understanding. They were excellent in every way — compassionate, efficient, and incredibly accommodating during what was a stressful time. Their response only strengthened my confidence in the brand. On previous stays, the hotel has consistently delivered first-class comfort, style, and outstanding service. The location is superb, the rooms are immaculate, and the atmosphere is both elegant and welcoming. As a National Guide from Ireland, I experience hotels regularly and understand the importance of genuine hospitality. I would have no hesitation in recommending Soho Boutique Colón — and the wider Soho Boutique group — to every kind of traveller. I would also strongly suggest booking directly with the hotel, as the service and communication are second to none. A truly professional and customer-focused team. Javier Pládena was the gentleman I dealt with. Thank you Jacqueline National Guide Ireland🇮🇪
