Description

Start your journey through Málaga’s rich history and culture near the iconic Crystal Pyramid on Calle Alcazabilla, just look for the orange umbrella and your local guide. Our first stop is the Roman Theatre, the best-preserved Roman structure in Málaga, built in the 1st century AD. Hidden underground for centuries, it now stands as a remarkable testament to the city’s Roman roots. You'll hear captivating stories about its history and significance from an ideal exterior viewpoint. Next, we admire the exterior of the Alcazaba, an 11th-century Moorish fortress nestled on the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro. While we don’t enter the monument, we’ll share fascinating insights about its architecture, strategic function, and role in Málaga’s past. From there, we ascend toward the Mirador Panorámico de Málaga, a stunning lookout point offering panoramic views over the historic center, port, and surrounding mountains, perfect for memorable photos and a deeper appreciation of the city's layout and heritage. After soaking in the view, you’ll enjoy a well-deserved break with delicious homemade Spanish tapas, freshly prepared by your guide and served in a relaxing nearby spot. We then stroll through some of Málaga’s most iconic streets, passing landmarks like El Pimpi wine bar and the Picasso Museum, connecting the past with the modern city life. We finish our experience at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, affectionately known as La Manquita ('the one-armed lady') due to its unfinished second tower, a unique symbol of Málaga’s charm and character.
