Description

Your day begins with a morning pick-up from your Malaga accommodation and transfer to Tarifa port. From there, board the ferry to Tangier.

Upon arrival, meet your local guide and begin a sightseeing tour aboard an air-conditioned minivan. Drive through the Ville Nouvelle to explore Tangier's European architectural influence and its multicultural history where Muslims, Christians, and Jews have coexisted peacefully.

Continue through the California District, home to elegant villas and palaces including the Royal Palace. Travel west along a winding, sea-sprayed road surrounded by eucalyptus, mimosa, cypress, and umbrella pines. Pause at Perdicaris Park for photos before visiting Cap Spartel, the northwest point of mainland Africa, featuring a lighthouse with views across to Spain.

Proceed along the Atlantic coast to the camel ride location, enjoying the unique experience before returning to the Kasbah District. Explore its uphill alleyways overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar and the Strait’s surrounding regions. Your guide will explain the Islamic architectural symbolism found throughout the Kasbah.

Walk through the Medina to visit bustling cafes, shops, and local heritage sites such as communal ovens, mosques, and hammams. Browse the Souks, organized by specialty, selling spices, antiques, olives, leather, and more. Your visit may include a stop at the former American Legation, an important site highlighting Morocco-US diplomatic history.
