SpiderTech is an outdoor augmented reality team game in Málaga, suitable for groups of 2 to 8 players aged 12 and above.
Game Description
Spider Tech, a secret research company, has released a latent virus into the global water supply. You have 120 minutes to complete missions, find the antidote, and hack the virus control server before the virus activates.
Teams of 2 to 6 players navigate the streets of Málaga, solving puzzles using an iPad and augmented reality. Multiple groups can play simultaneously and compete. The ideal team size is 4 to 5 players.
Success depends on observation, communication, and cooperation during this immersive experience.
Practical Information
- You start at the game office with a briefing on the mission and game dynamics.
- Each team receives a programmed iPad and an action pack of gadgets needed to solve challenges.
- The route covers approximately 2 km outdoors; comfortable footwear is recommended.
- At least one team member must have a smartphone with internet access and a camera.
