Reviews
The hotel is quite basic, visibly dated, and the rooms are rather small. A nice highlight is the small rooftop pool, which offers a pleasant refreshment. Unfortunately, there is no shade at all around the sun loungers, leaving you completely exposed to the sun. The major downside is the lack of soundproofing in the windows. You can hear every single word from the street. This is particularly problematic on weekends, especially on the first floor, as partygoers tend to be very loud all night long. On a positive note, the hotel accommodated our complaint and moved us to a room facing a quieter street. The breakfast is perfectly fine with a decent variety, so there should be something for everyone. The staff is consistently friendly, understanding, and helpful. Update: Our new room is now on the 4th floor facing a quieter side street, which indeed reduces the noise problems. However, the bed in this room is very narrow, making it a real challenge for two people, so getting a good night's sleep is unfortunately difficult. In addition, the mattress shakes with every movement, meaning we constantly wake each other up. Update2: After sleeping or trying to sleep in this room I have to adjust our rating a bit. I don't remember the last time we slept this bad and for almost 200€ per night (I know it was peak season which means prices are higher) I thought I could at least expect some decent sleep.
The location was great! Right in the historical center everything is close. The staff was very polite and amazing, from reception to cleaning ladies. Room was very clean as well and they accommodated our requests such as an additional hair dryer and electric kettle. The location means you also get a lot of external noise. The windows aren’t great at cancelling out the noise so it was quite hard for us to sleep. On Sundays the restaurants just outside the hotel close at 01:30 and at 12 on weekdays.
Staff very friendly and helpful, especially with families and kids. Breakfast was correct, and the location ideal to do the historic city centre of Málaga by foot. The pool on the top floor is always welcome for a hot day.
Very kind staff, great service. Clean and comfy. Great location, occasional noise at night but nothing crazy (as is to be expected in any city centre) Would definitely come back!
Lovely stay here. Rooms are compact but have what's needed including a mini fridge and a kettle upon request. Customer service was excellent particularly from Raul who was warm, welcoming and helpful. We had a quiet room on floor 4 next to the sun deck. There is no bar and options for a plant based breakfast could be improved but I was happy with the fruit & cereal. We would return. It's in the pedestrian zone near shops, restaurants, castle, galleries.
