The Vincci Selección Posada del Patio markets itself on attention to detail — unfortunately that promise is only partially delivered. While our room and private patio were genuinely beautiful and exactly what we hoped for, the public areas fell well short of the five star standard the hotel claims. The pool area was a particular disappointment — dirty surroundings and murky water are simply not acceptable at this level. After a long day wandering the extraordinary shops and beaches of Málaga, the last thing you want is a pool you don’t feel comfortable relaxing in. José the bellman was a genuine bright spot — wonderful, warm and attentive in every interaction. He deserves better surroundings to work within. The ancient city walls visible beneath the hotel and the historic bones of the property are extraordinary — the potential here is undeniable. But potential and execution are different things, and on this visit the gap between the two was noticeable. Beautiful room. Disappointing experience overall.
What a lovely hotel. We had a lovely couple of days and the cocktails prepared by Alberto are amazing. Alberto is such a nice guy, making you feel very welcome. The rooms are fantastic and the facilities including the various terraces and rooftop pool are excellent. The hotel has a great friendly vibe and centrally located.
Just had the most amazing week. Perfectly located in Malaga, access to lots of bars and restaurants, shops and museums. 20 minute uber ride from airport. Hotel is tastefully designed, comfortable and clean. Our room (130) was on the first floor accessible by lifts at either end of the floor. Well equipped bathroom with all the essentials including Clarins products. Pool, albeit small was wonderful and we always got a spot to relax with bar service conveniently on hand, along with towels. However it is the staff that make this hotel so special. Warm, friendly and very helpful. Huge shout out to Miguel and Adi, who, on finding out I was unwell did everything they could possibly do to make me more comfortable. Will definitely return.
I can not commend or praise the staff at this hotel enough. They have been kind, generous, supportive and have gone above and beyond for my daughter and I. We're here to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday and the staff have made it extra special for her. They serenaded her with happy birthday, cake and sparkling juice at breakfast on her birthday. We got back later that day to a bottle of Cava and more cake with birthday wishes. She absolutely loved it all and feels like a celebrity. The hotel itself is gorgeous and its central location, makes it an easy walk to all the main sites and attractions. I would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you all so very much W & C 👏🏽💕💕xx
Our stay was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel like VIPs! I closely worked closely with Nahuel, the guest experience manager, to surprise my wife for her birthday, and he executed everything to perfection. From stunning floral arrangements to those thoughtful extra touches, he took "great care" of us and made sure the day was seamless and special. It’s rare to find that level of genuine dedication - thank you! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Plus You are right in the heart of everything. We stepped out the door and were immediately immersed in the best the city has to offer. Dinner reservations and "insider" city tips provided were spot on.. The breakfast spread was fantastic (the perfect way to start the day), and the rooms/beds were so comfortable we actually struggled to leave them in the morning. If you want a hotel that combines great comfort with a heart of gold, you found it!
