Reviews
Very nice hotel, we felt much relax and had better experience than our previous 4 -star hotels. The change the towels on demand every day. Complementary water every day. Very clean, much higher than a 3-star hotel clean. Very nice breakfast, with tasty brownies, pancakes, cheesecake, fresh fruit. Great location. And on top of all of these very nice staff. When we arrived the electricity was out, their computers didn’t work, the elevator and AC were not working, the lady was a bit stressed and couldn’t welcome us very well. But we put our luggage and went out for a while to have lunch meanwhile the guys were working on the issue. When we came back she was all good again, kind, and excuses for our existence. One funny thing is the veeeery slow elevator. Because its a small old building to prevent the noise of the elevator they made it very slow which was funny ride. It’s only two floors so you wouldn’t need that for everyday use but for your luggages. All in all very great.
This place is just inside a pedestrian only part of Malaga and on a narrow walkway. The very old building has been totally renovated and is beautiful and modern. Exploring the around is full of wonderful suprises. We will be back.
We actually stayed in Madeinterranea Apartments. Nice apartment (very small). Fully equipped kitchen with clothes washer. Nice bathroom. Lots of closet space, but no place for a suitcase. There was also a peculiar smell permeating the apartment.
We stayed at The Madeinterranea for a few days in January 2026. It's a truly excellent small hotel in a great location in the centre of Malaga Old Town. The building is beautiful, with a welcoming traditional central atrium. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and tasty with good coffee! Highly recommended.
