Was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Every single staff member was welcoming, attentive and always had a smile on their face. Service was better than some 5*s I’ve stayed in. We were on the 5th floor and elevators were efficient. No communal lounge area but can sit in the dining area if needed. The hotel is a standard 4* with all the basics you need. Breakfast was a bonus, chefs made perfect omelettes, saw pancakes too but never had room for it. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my vegetarian needs. Location is the best part (cheap considering how central it was) 7min walk to bus stops and 15-20mins from the beach/tourist sites. very convenient. Cleaning was spot on. No tea/coffee refills (although if requested they won’t hesitate to refill).
Thanks to the staff of Petit Palace Plaza Malaga, a very special mention to Andrés from welcome reception and Esmeralda from our breakfast service. They undoubtedly made our stay in Málaga truly special. The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of Málaga! The rooms were very comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was excellent. We look forward to coming back soon!
Great hotel but overrated for a 4 star. I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times for several years now. Love the staff, always friendly and great location. The interior of the common area, the breakfast room and rooms are a mix match of everything, not really 4 star worthy. Some rooms are really small, facilities are okay. Maintenance is a real downfall. They should renovate but instead are still open and the roomrates have increased. The last time I stayed there this February, there was even an open gap in the wall. They are kind to allocate my preferred room but this is unacceptable for a 4 star (even when I mentioned it, they responded careless). The breakfast is amazing, actually has become even better then before. However they only have a small breakfast area, but breakfast is always included with every booking, no option. The consequence is an extreme bussy breakfast time, with sometimes queues..... Cleaning can be better, rooms are not always thoroughly cleaned. And items are not always added as should be. Love this place but definitely not a 4 star. You pay a lot for only the location.
The location is superb for visiting the city ( the street facing rooms can be a bit noisy if the windows are open but the double glazing works well..). Reception staff were really friendly with helpful it's and always a smile. The rooms were really modern and spacious, amazing shower. Breakfast buffet had a really good selection of quality foods. In Reception there are always mini pastries available which was a lovely touch. Very clean in every area of the hotel
Me and my family stayed at the petit plaza over 4 days and it was a lovely stay. The staff are incredibly lovely and helpful, they provided help straight away and were able to offer advice/guidance. The location of the hotel is amazing. You will Be walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. The beach is a 20mins walk which was great. The breakfast was delicious. They included foods that consisted of bread, eggs, yogurt bowls, deli meats and much more we throughly enjoyed the breakfast as it included things we would have at home (UK) the only negatives would be that the room AC doesn’t work so the room was overly humid at times, they provided a fan which was helpful but with the warm weather this wasn’t enough. The hotel doesn’t include any communal spaces. They have the dining area but that’s it. No outdoor seating which I found disappointing. It would have been nice to sit outside after a long day and enjoy hot drinks. They have a terrace which is only available for booking this should be made into a communal area for everyone to enjoy. Other than that the rooms were nice and clean staff were lovely and pretty much a nice quite space there were never any loud noises etc. would recommend
