Picnic Soho

Down this quiet street in Soho you'll find a jolly cafe bar that wouldn't be out of place in Soho New York. It's definitely a sort of Americana but still Spanish. The interior has been stripped back to the distressed brickwork which gives it a great urban feel, and the design of the place is a mish-mash of mismatched retro furniture, signs, lamps, tables and general grooviness. The food is Spanish Americana, lots of wraps and burgers, nachos and snacks, cheesecakes and all sorts of other big rich cakes, plus smoothies and plenty of craft beer. Considering it is in the new trendy district of town it is remarkably economic, and much less self-conscious than many other places around. So for cheap fuel in a truly funky environment, look no further. Málaga's Soho is starting to live up to its name.
