La Comedia

La Comedia is a brand new star in the firmament of Málaga nightlife, and the first fully conceived LGBT nightclub in town. It is surprising it has taken this long, and now Málaga can start to steal some of the limelight back off the LGBT scene in Torremolinos. So Málaga finally has its first gay nightclub. The recent demise of the indie music venue, The Velvet Club, has allowed an intimate and very central venue to be opened in its place. The decor is blingy and bright, and sparkles like the drag queens on stage. There's a great line up of resident and visiting DJ's, plus all kinds of special events and guest appearences planned.  In true tolerant gender fluid style, even the rest rooms are unisex, just so there's no confusion. La Comedia promises fun, freedom and lots of partying, with the place open until a body and brain draining 7am. This being Málaga however, the crowd is a freewheeling mix of everyone, gay, bi or straight. All you need to enjoy La Comedia is an open mind, a love of kitsch and glam, a big sense of fun, and stamina!
