I would give 5 stars but had to wait about 15 min for the bill to arrive. The food is nice and tasty and the portions are big. The paella in our view is 3.5 out of 5 The prices are good. I will recommend and we will visit again
Brilliant view of the beach in a shady promenade spot, this place embodies the Chiringuito atmosphere and delivers absolutely delicious food in no time at all. Best of all it is absolutely bang on value for money as the quality of food and service are undervalued in my opinion! A definite must visit!
Tucked away in the old fishing village of El Palo, just 15 minutes from Málaga, La Concha captures the soul of the Andalusian coast. Far from the tourist crowds, this authentic seaside neighborhood is known for its exceptional fish and seafood, and this humble beachfront chiringuito celebrates that tradition beautifully. There is nothing fancy here, and that's exactly its charm. The atmosphere is warm and local, the staff are genuinely welcoming, and the food speaks for itself. We ordered the famous espetos—fresh sardines grilled over open coals and served on large skewers. At just €2 for four sardines, they are a reminder that the simplest pleasures are often the most memorable. A squeeze of lemon, the scent of the sea, and nothing more is needed. One of the loveliest touches was seeing the chef come out to chat with guests and ask how everyone had enjoyed their meal. It felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like being welcomed into a cherished local tradition. With the Mediterranean stretching out before you and the gentle rhythm of village life all around, La Concha offers the kind of experience that lingers long after the last bite. If you love seafood and want to discover a more authentic side of Málaga, make your way to El Palo and treat yourself to a wonderfully simple meal by the sea. 🌊🐟☀️ Make sure to make advance reservations.
Fabulous seafood! The king prawns on the skewer espeto style are the very best! Love it. Recommend highly.
We had the paella mixta. It was amazing! Highly reccomend this place. Best chiringuito we had in Spain in south coast (we were here for 3 weeks)
