This is a museum that is primarily educational with an extensive programme of events, workshops, recitals and concerts. It is great fun, dynamic and quite different to things set in glass cabinets. It takes the visitor through the evolution of instruments, different cultures, and offers a range of practical experiences in its sound laboratories. There are family activities every weekend.
