Interactive Museum of Music

A museum where you can not just look at the instruments, but learn to play all sorts of them, from different eras and cultures. This is a museum that is primarily educational with an extensive programme of events, workshops, recitals and concerts. It is great fun, dynamic and quite different to things set in glass cabinets. A great place to take kids or for anyone with a passing musical interest. It takes the visitor through the evolution of instruments, different cultures, and offers a range of practical experiences in its sound laboratories. There are family activities every weekend.
