Excellent location and hotel! Very clean and well maintained! Small yet fully formed - the rooftop bar is a must visit, especially at sunset overlooking the Alcazaba and the breakfast is also really tasty! The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and have a room to keep your luggage in if you still have some time to explore before your flight.
My review is for the rooftop bar and terrace. Great location, great view on Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. Service is bad, the barman was more interested in his mobile than in serving us. A bit overpricy given the service…
Great location in the old town, close to the Castle, Alcazaba and the museums etc and lots of shops and restaurants/tapas bars all in easy walking distance. The breakfast service was lovely and the outside terrace was a bonus in the morning. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was great - often in hotels the shower can be a bit under powered. Just a couple of very minor issues; the position of the bed makes it difficult to manoeuvre larger cases in and out, but I'm not sure it could be anywhere else, and I would have liked mugs for hot drinks as well as the glasses. But we would definitely stay here again, and happily recommend it to other travellers.
Lovely hotel, great location and lovely sound proofed room. Clean and good sized room. Good bathroom. Only let down is the breakfast. Fruit was rock hard and kept in fridge which made it inedible. Breakfast options weee limited and waiter service was not ideal for breakfast. Buffet service would have been better
Perfect location with a great roof top bar! However, the breakfast wasn’t worth the extra payment, not to mention, the service was poor as we entered the breakfast room and there were no staff to been seen for 15 minutes. We had to go to the reception who then called the restaurant staff. No apology for the inconvenience. The rooms were large, with a comfy bed however, very shabby with things falling apart and no room telephone. We had a room with the Alcazaba view but had a building right in front of the window with building work starting at 8am and workers at eye level into our window…
