A well located hotel within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars. The room was simple but clean. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. Very good value for money. Would recommend.
I have no complaints. If you're looking for a simple, non-luxurious and straight-to-the-point hotel to stay in which still has standards, ibis budget is a good spot. The location is about a 10 minute walk from the centre. The walls are quite thin and you can hear people in the hallways as they pass by, so if you struggle to sleep, you might not enjoy your stay here as the bed is also not the most comfortable. However, for a short stay and for the price, I have no complaints. 🙌
Overall Experience A good stay overall, with very helpful staff and solid value for the price. Staff & Service The staff are very helpful and always willing to answer questions. A special thanks to the intern Alessio—he is doing a wonderful job. I hope he gets a full-time position at the hotel! Rooms The rooms are somewhat small, but they are fair for the price. Cleanliness & Maintenance This was the main downside. The rooms could have been cleaner and better maintained. Facilities The Wi-Fi works very well, which is a big plus. Suggestions for Improvement It would be very helpful to have clearer signs guiding guests from the car park to the lobby, as it can be a bit confusing to find the way.
The location of the hotel is great. Just a few minutes of walking distance from La Carrios. Lots of good restaurants near by. Also it’s just beside el ingles Cortes so it’s very easy to locate the hotel. The breakfast served had less options but the food was consistent. The rooms were cleaned well everyday. Only problem we had was the toilet area didn’t have a door latch maybe a local thing. We were ok with the size of the room as it was a budget hotel. The people working in the hotel are very nice and polite.
We visited in February and were welcomed by friendly staff who were happy to help us with our Spanish. We arrived prior to the check-in time, and the staff checked to see if the room might be ready early. This wasn't the case but we were able to leave our bags in a secure locker and return later to complete our check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk from Málaga Centro Almeda station and the centre of town. The staff were very knowledgeable about the area which was quiet and felt safe. On asking, the staff found me a phone charger to borrow. We didn't use the on-site cafetería as we preferred to find breakfast in town, but it was busy and their offers looked good. We have used Ibis Budget hotels before and were not disappointed.
