Da Saveria

There is an abundance of pizza available on the coast, but when you find a good one, made from true Italian flour and tomato sauce, you know the difference. At Da Saveria you get Italian food that makes Italian's happy. The interior is luminous and jolly, with typical gingham tablecloths. The story of Da Saveria is young. Owner Saveria Guarnaccio recently emigrated from Calabria, and initially opened a takeaway in the same premises. Such was the reaction that they took the bold step of making it into a restaurant, and haven't looked back since. This is cooking learned from Grandma, the food that graces the tables of millions of Italian families. The pasta is freshly made, as is the gnocchi, the pizza dough and all of the deserts including the incomparable tiramisu, all from ingredients shipped from Italy.
