ADDRESSPlaza de la Flores 1, Malaga, Old Town
Directions
This name actually translates as 'the croaky Cockrell', which could be an unkind way of describing a flamenco singer on a bad day! This is a flamenco taverna plain and simple. It has the old world charm and traditional decor of a genuine old taverna because it is, but nicely located on the Plaza Flores right in the centre next to Calle Larios. Here you can dine in true Andalucian style while taking in the flamenco show. There's an extensive terrace for alfresco dining so you can dine outside and pop n for the show in the bar afterwards. Or the other way around. A truly traditional way to mix a dinner and flamenco. While normally you'd need to go to a tablao to get authentic flamenco, here you get that as well as the pleasure of dining in a characterful old taverna.
