Malaga is a busy city, and the old town can seem a little cramped. But thanks to its pedestrianisation there are many areas where you can now dine alfresco with a view that encapsulates hundreds of years of history. One such place is L'Experience. This charming bistro is excellently located with one of the best views in Malaga. The backdrop to your meal is the imposing facade of the cathedral and the opulent bishop's palace. It truly is spectacular. The square is spacious so you are a long way from the traffic, though there's plenty of human traffic to watch. The menu is Mediterranean bistro style with some Asian noodle and stirfries to broaden it out. You can mix and match a nice range of dishes so its great for eating in groups, and is very popular with the locals for friends dinners and works do's. There's a good variety of dishes, so its easy to snack, share a range of dishes or have a full-on dinner or a light lunch.
